In-Shape | 16 Nov, 2022 | Workouts | Return|

We know cardio can be hard(io), but we also know it’s an important part of your fitness routine! Cardio exercise improves the function of your heart, lungs, and circulatory system – and burns major calories. When you find a form of cardio you like, it can even be fun. Here are 5 of our favorite ways to get in a cardio workout!

1. M7: HIIT

HIIT workouts are quick, fun, and intense. If you like feeling sweaty and accomplished when you leave the club, you’ll LOVE this class. Check your class schedule on the app.

2. Try The Treadmill

If you like to “zone out” and listen to a podcast or watch TV while you get your heart rate up, the treadmill can be a great way to log some miles, burn some calories, build endurance and stimulate the metabolism.

3. ZUMBA®

If the treadmill isn’t your thing, don’t worry—just put on your dancing shoes. The high- and low-intensity intervals in this dance fitness class make it an excellent cardio workout…who knew? Serious dancers and those of us with two left feet are all welcome at ZUMBA, so why not give it a try? Cardio’s never been so fun.

4. Cycle Classes

Whether you take Beatz RIDE, Freestyle RIDE, Les Mills SPRINT™ or RPM™, cycle classes are SURE to get your heartrate up. Best of all, the awesome music and the energy of the other riders in your class will give you a boost of motivation to push even further. Reserve your spot in class using the In-Shape app.

5. BODYCOMBAT®

If you’ve been an In-Shape member for a while, you’ve probably heard other members talk about BODYCOMBAT. That’s because this cardio workout is a member FAVORITE! After you punch, kick and strike your way through your first class, you’ll understand why.
