In-Shape | 07 Apr, 2022 | Healthy Recipes | Return|

Celebrate spring with this Easter bunny-approved healthy smoothie that will remind you of a delicious carrot cake. This recipe calls for walnuts, but make sure to skip the nuts if anyone is allergic. We recommend using a high-powered blender to make sure your carrots get extra smooth.

What you need:

  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup frozen, sliced banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen, diced pineapple
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened milk of your choice
  • 2 tbsp toasted walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg

What you do:

  1. Add all ingredients to your blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Top with shredded carrots, coconut flakes or crushed walnuts.
