Carrot Cake Smoothie Recipe
Celebrate spring with this Easter bunny-approved healthy smoothie that will remind you of a delicious carrot cake. This recipe calls for walnuts, but make sure to skip the nuts if anyone is allergic. We recommend using a high-powered blender to make sure your carrots get extra smooth.
What you need:
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup frozen, sliced banana
- 1/4 cup frozen, diced pineapple
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain
- 1/2 cup unsweetened milk of your choice
- 2 tbsp toasted walnuts
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
What you do:
- Add all ingredients to your blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Top with shredded carrots, coconut flakes or crushed walnuts.
