3 Ways To Turn Trader Joe's Cauliflower Gnocchi Into An Easy Dinner

In-Shape | 14 Apr, 2022 | Healthy Recipes | Return|

We know weeknights get busy, and sometimes it can be a real struggle to find time to make dinner. With a bag of cauliflower gnocchi from Trader Joe’s in your freezer, you might be surprised how many delicious, easy dinners you can whip up in no-time. Here are three easy ways to take your gnocchi from side dish to main event.

1. Try a sheet-pan meal
We love recipes that keep the clean-up to a minimum, and that’s just what you get with a sheet-pan meal.

You can mix and match your veggies and protein, but here’s a great place to start: cauliflower gnocchi, chicken sausage (sliced), green beans, cherry tomatoes.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Add your ingredients to a large sheet pan, drizzle with a teaspoon of olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and roast for 30 minutes. Dinner…done!

2. Make a low-carb Alfredo dish
Swap the pasta in your favorite fettucine Alfredo recipe for low-carb cauliflower gnocchi! This recipe takes just 15 minutes.

In a large pan, heat up a teaspoon of olive oil. Add the gnocchi and cook for 5 minutes or until cooked through. Then introduce your favorite veggies: we like mushrooms and broccoli for this one.

Once your veggies are cooked to your liking, add in precooked chicken (or your choice of protein) and a jar of your favorite Alfredo sauce.

3. Go ultra-easy with a 10-minute recipe
Next time you’re at Trader Joe’s, make sure to grab the ingredients for this recipe so you have a SUPER-easy supper waiting for you.

All you need is your bag of gnocchi, a jar of Trader Joe’s Bruschetta sauce, a pre-cooked sausage of your choice (we like the Italian chicken sausage) and a bag of arugula.

Sauté your gnocchi and sliced sausage until warmed through. Then add the bruschetta sauce. Let simmer for a minute before adding in the arugula. Let the arugula wilt, then serve.
