Fitness Gifts for The Family

In-Shape | 30 Nov, 2022 | Workouts | Return|

Teaching your kids to love fitness and encouraging them to stay active is no easy task, especially in the winter months when it’s often too rainy to play outside. If you’re looking for a gift that will get your kids up and moving during the winter months and beyond (and hopefully keep them off those pesky screens for a few minutes!), check out the list below.

1. Give The Gift Of An (Active) Experience

Gifting experiences leads to amazing family memories, and there’s no better way to get your kids moving. Depending on the age of your child, consider tickets to a Ropes Course (Like Quarry Park, for our NorCal readers), your local indoor Trampoline park or roller skating passes. You could also sign them up for classes they’ve always wanted to try, like gymnastics, rock climbing or horseback riding.

2. Fitbit For Kids

If your kids want to be able to track their steps and activities like you do, consider the Fitbit Ace 3 Activity Tracker, which is made for kids. Then, you and the fam can challenge each other to step competitions!

3. Ring Fit Adventure For Nintendo Switch

If your little gamer already has a Nintendo Switch (or is getting one for the holidays), you may want to treat them to a game called Ring Fit Adventure. It’s an adventure game that’s also a workout! This game is rated for kids 10+.

4. Mini Trampoline

Okay, this one is kind of a gift for the whole family. If you opt for a mini trampoline that’s safe for both kids and adults, everyone can take turns bouncing around and getting in a fun workout!

5. Yoga Mat For Little Yogis

Here's an idea for some quality fitness time—you and your kids can practice yoga and stretching together! With their very own yoga mat, it’ll be extra fun.
